Overview
Having already partnered with Dexsora on their social media growth, we were brought back to solve a deeper problem: their visual identity was generic, inconsistent across platforms, and completely failed to communicate the sophistication of their Web3 product to an institutional audience.
The Challenge
Dexsora was entering a fundraising phase and pitching to institutional investors and crypto funds. Their existing logo — a free Canva template customised by a team member — was immediately recognisable as non-professional to any investor who'd seen hundreds of Web3 decks. The colour palette was inconsistent across their website, Twitter banner, Discord server, and pitch deck. Their visual identity was actively working against their credibility narrative.
Our Solution
We designed a visual identity system built around two positioning goals: technical credibility and institutional trust. The resulting system uses a geometric monogram, a restrained dark palette with a single high-saturation accent, and a type system that sits between editorial and technical. The brand book includes specific guidance for pitch deck application — the context where the identity needed to perform most critically.
How We Did It
Analysed the visual identity of 20 successfully funded Web3 companies to identify common visual signals of credibility in the institutional crypto investor context.
Presented three logo directions: geometric monogram (selected), typographic wordmark with icon, and abstract mark. Each was presented with a pitch deck mockup to contextualise institutional application.
Expanded the approved monogram into a complete system: primary and dark mode colour palettes, type system, icon style guide, and usage rules for digital, print, and presentation contexts.
Produced a dedicated 8-page section within the brand book specifically for investor presentation application — cover slide templates, data visualisation colour standards, and typography hierarchy for financial documents.
"The rebrand was a turning point in our fundraising process. Investors stopped asking about our team before they'd even finished reading the deck — the identity now communicates the calibre we'd been trying to signal verbally."
